We are the wives and husbands, the partners, the daughters and sons, the mothers and fathers, the families and friends of those Chileans who were assassinated by the dictatorship between 1973 and 1990.
Our family members fought social and political struggles; they were Chileans who, day after day, gave us their work, participation or simply their lives to be able to give us happiness.
In some cases we were given their bodies, yet in others we still do not have them, and for that reason we have not been able to give them a proper burial.
In the great majority of the cases, the State, which was the violator of their rights, still has not taken any measure to investigate why they were assassinated, nor who killed them, in order for the guilty to be judged and pay for their crimes.
We, the family members, will not permit this impunity, and we are fighting so that the truth is known and that justice is carried out.
